The Printer has a single set of straight-up tractors. This allows for easy forms insertion. Add to that the draft speed of up to 530 cps, the FormsPro 4500se can print a typical 1,000 character document in less than five (5) seconds. That is over 700 documents per hour.
The most noticeable change in the FormsPro 4500se from the previous version, FormsPro 4500, is the additional increase in the input buffer. The input buffer is where print jobs are stored while the printer completes them. The 4500 had a buffer size of 4 kilobytes, which was increased in the FormsPro 4500se to 32 kilobytes. There are also a few changes to character sets and graphics speeds, but the specifications cover those changes.
