Printek Tractor Shuttle Motor, FormsPro 4603

The Printek Tractor Shuttle Motor is a repair part for the FormsPro 4603 Wide Carriage Dot Matrix Printer.

The procedure for the replacement of the Tractor Shuttle Motor is:

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the electronics cover.
3. Unplug the motor cable from the shuttle driver board at JP2 and route the cable down through the corner of the chassis.

1. Open the printer case.
2. Bend open the cable clips.
3. Remove the three screws that fasten the motor to the gear plate assembly and remove the motor.
4. Install new motor on the gear plate assembly.
5. Route the cable up through the corner of the chassis and fasten the cable in the clips.
6. Connect the motor cable to the driver board at JP2.
7. Reinstall the electronics cover.
