Zebra Resin Thermal Ribbons

The Zebra Resin Ribbons are ideal for use with synthetic materials in environments with harsh to extreme chemical exposure and excessive abrasion, or where UL/cUL approval is required.

There are three classes of Zebra Resin Ribbons.

• 5095 Performance
  • A resin ribbon formulation that produces images resistant to most harsh and extreme chemicals and environments when used with Zebra's synthetic label and tag materials. This includes select harsh and extreme chemicals such as gasoline, acetone and xylene as well as extreme temperature, moisture, smearing and abrasions. Applications which use resin ribbons include chemical container labeling, outdoor labeling, wand-scanned labels, labels exposed to friction or abrasives, pallet labels and shelf labels.
• 5100 Premium
  • A premium resin ribbon that offers exceptional abrasion and solvent resistance on a wide variety of materials while still providing excellent edge definition. This ribbon is an excellent choice for printing extremely dense bar codes and high-resolution graphics. Suggested uses for this ribbon would be labeling applications which require extreme resistance to chemicals, printed circuit board applications, replacement for laminated labels and high temperature harsh environments needing excellent print quality, print durability and label performance.
• Image Lock
  • A premium resin ribbon that offers exceptional abrasion and solvent resistance on a wide variety of materials while still providing excellent edge definition. This ribbon is an excellent choice for extremely dense bar codes and high-resolution graphics. Its unique resin base provides excellent resistance to outdoor elements and chemical solvents. Suggested uses include printed circuit board  applications, laboratory slide labels applications, labeling applications requiring extreme resistance to harsh chemicals including gasoline, acetone and xylene and replacement of laminated labels.
